Algonquin was a 2 year old male orca who was born at Marineland Canada on December 18, 1999. He passed away on August 13, 2002 from twisted intestines.

Algonquin was a very playful calf. He liked to play with the other whales and guests. He developed a close relationship to his half brother Hudson. The two were together often.

Algonquin suddenly became ill and passed away from twisted intestines on August 13, 2002.
