Hyak was a 9 year old male orca who was captured on February 21, 1968. He was released in February 1969.
Hyak was a young male orca who was captured along with several other orcas. He stayed in Pender Harbor after his capture and was released a year later. He has not been seen since his release. He may have been a member of the Northern Residents.
