Kamea is a 10 year old female orca who was born at SeaWorld San Antonio on December 6, 2013 at 12:08 am. Her mother is Takara and her father is Kshamenk via artificial insemination.

SeaWorld announced that she had been named Kamea on February 3, 2014. Kamea means "precious one" in Hawaiian. She can often be seen swimming alongside her mother or half sister Sakari, though she can be seen with any member of the pod.
