T13 Flores

T13, also known as Flores or O5, was an approximately 25 year old female orca who was captured on March 7, 1976 in Washington State. She was released on April 26, 1976 and passed away in 1998.

It was assumed that T14 Pender, may have been her son. Due to the age of Pender, this is why Flores was presumed to be older at the time of her capture. They were captured together, along with four other whales. The whales were transferred to the Seattle Aquarium, but released a month and a half later due to public protest of the captures. The whales were captured by SeaWorld.
